Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sinc, a service provided by SINC-TODAY LTD, registered in Rwanda. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sinc mobile apps (iOS and Android) and the web platform (collectively, the "Service").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sinc, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Age Restriction
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Sinc platform. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 17 or older.
If you are under 18, you affirm that you have obtained permission from your parent or legal guardian to use the platform.
Use of the Service is optional and available globally. While you can browse content without signing up, certain features (like purchasing tickets or creating events) require an account.
3. Accounts and User Responsibilities
- Users may create an account by providing a username, email, and optional profile and banner pictures.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
- You agree not to impersonate others, engage in ticket scalping, or post scam or illegal events.
- Organizers must ensure all event details are accurate and comply with applicable laws.
4. Ticket Purchases and Refunds
- Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways.
- Sinc is not responsible for refunds. Refund requests must be directed to the event organizer, whose contact information is displayed on the event page.
- Sinc does not guarantee the fulfillment or cancellation of any event.
5. Content and Uploads
- You may upload images (profile, banners, event flyers). All content must comply with our Content Policy.
- Uploads containing nudity, hate speech, or unlawful material are prohibited.
- We moderate uploads and may remove or restrict content at our discretion.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Resell or scalp tickets.
- Upload misleading or fraudulent content.
- Create fake profiles or impersonate others.
- Post events that violate applicable laws or promote violence, discrimination, or hate.
- Exploit the platform for any illegal purposes.
7. Privacy and Data Use
- We collect personal data such as name, email, username, profile images, banner images, and device location (location is not stored).
- We use third-party tools such as Apple push services, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Sentry for error monitoring.

8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or if required by law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and code on the platform belong to SINC-TODAY LTD or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute without permission.
10. Third-Party Services
Your use of third-party services (e.g., payment processors) is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SINC-TODAY LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including event cancellations or non-refundable tickets.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are made implies acceptance of the new terms.
